Sal Iacono, Senior Vice-president (retired) Bell, contributed 30 years of distinguished service to Bell and Canada’s telecom industry. He joined Bell in 1977, where for the first half of his career, he built an international reputation as a telecom demand and price elasticity analyst. In 1992, after moving into marketing and management, he held several director-level marketing positions in Bell and Stentor Resource Centre Inc (SRCI). One of his most important functions was to develop tactical marketing plans to prepare Stentor-owned companies for the advent of equal-access long distance competition. In his last officer-level position with Bell, he was Senior Vice President, Product Marketing within the Enterprise Group of Bell, where he was accountable for a $1.5 billion portfolio of services.
