So often youth in our society are portrayed in a negative way, but Youth Action is all about the positive energy that inspires youth like you to make a difference!

It’s simple. At United Way/Centraide Ottawa, we encourage you to take action, participate in an event or run projects that will help change people’s lives for the better. With Youth Action you have a chance for your voice to be heard, to be a part of decisions and to turn your ideas into projects that help people. Youth Action is about making a difference where we know help is needed the most in our community. So get creative, get involved!

How you can sign up!

Interested in making a difference in your community? Do you want the power to make decisions about where to invest funds in community development projects led by youth?

The Youth Action Panel literally injects the community with the funds necessary to jump-start innovation when it comes to making an impact. We are looking for YOU to join US!

If you are between the ages of 13 and 18 and interested in applying to be a member of the Youth Action Panel, take a few minutes to complete and submit your application.
