Thank you for your interest in building a better community for all by supporting United Way Ottawa. Without the support of activities such as third-party events, our work would not be possible. At United Way, we offer many tools that can be useful in the production of a third-party event. By completing the Third Party Event Agreement Form, you will be providing us with the information necessary to help you host a successful event for United Way.
Once you or your organization has decided to host a special event or program to benefit United Way, we ask that you read the Third Party Event Guidelines, the Tax Receipting Guidelines and complete the Third Party Event Application Form and submit it in sufficient time for United Way to properly support and promote your event.
Tartan Pub Annual Chili Contest - Proceeds to United Way Ottawa

If it’s Superbowl season, then it’s time for the annual Tartan Chili Contest – Hosted by Tartan Pub owner and proprietor Chris Bishop, with all proceeds going to United Way Ottawa. What: More than 10+ local Chili aficionados will serve up their own highly secretive Chili recipes in the hopes of being recognized as the “2012 winner” and seeing their own Chili highlighted on Tartan’s Superbowl buffet. When: January 28, 1:00 – 3:00 Judges: This annual event features celebrity judges: Rainer Bloess, Ottawa City Councillor, Shane Colton Chef, Fairmont Chateau Laurier Hotel, and Roger Doak, a member of Ottawa’s Scottish community. Come and sample some of the best chili our city has to offer. For only $10.00 you sample every chili and participate in choosing the “People’s Favourite” chili. Need to know more?
